About GEOCAMP
GEOCAMP is an eco-friendly nature lodge situated in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, near Buena Vista Colorado. GEOCAMP will offer a highly unique experience, where our guests will stay in small geodesic dome cabins, while experiencing the beauty, culture, and abundant opportunities for adventure that this amazing and special location has to offer!
GEOCAMP plans to create awareness and change by being on the forefront of nature tourism by providing an earth-centric, innovative, sustainable lodging experience. Our project is not a traditional campground, instead, we will be the region's first fully sustainable eco-friendly geodesic dome camp. Our mission is to create a comfortable and meaningful experience, that is centered around the philosophies of reciprocity, community, sustainability, green technologies, protection of natural resources, wildlife conservation, water conservation, and energy independence.
What sets GEOCAMP apart
Geodome Camping
Reconnect to yourself, others and this sacred land in cozy, thoughtfully equipped geodesic dome accommodations. Nestled within the Trout Creek Valley, each dome is intentionally placed to offer peace and privacy, along with panoramic views of the Arkansas Valley and the majestic 14,000 foot peaks of the Sawatch Range.

Earth Centric Ethos
GEOCAMP has been designed and built together with the Earth with the intention of being light on the land and minimal impact on the environment. We are working in harmony with the earth in every way that we can, by utilizing unique sustainable practices. For example, a majority of our structures are built sourcing locally milled, sustainably harvested Beetle Killed Pine timber. We use composting toilets as a way of conserving water and protecting the environment. Additionally, we will utilize biodegradable and compostable products, solar electricity, and energy efficient pellet stoves for heat.

Gateway to the Central Rockies
Located off Highway 285, with easy access from Denver and Colorado Springs and a five-minute drive to Buena Vista's restaurants, shops and services. With onsite opportunities to take in the vistas, soak your feet in Trout Creek or make new friends around our community fire to a nearby abundance of adventure with hiking, mountain biking, rafting, gold medal fishing and hot springs. GEOCAMP welcomes you to be present and enveloped in the surrounding beauty and energy of this sacred place.
